Study of the economic impact of the burying of the Granvia on the Catalan economy

Objective

To know the economic impact that the Reform of the Granvia will have on the Catalan economy, a project contemplated in the Gran Vía-Llobregat Urban Master Plan (PDU). Specifically, it is intended to quantify the impact in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Methodology

1st. Phase. Carry out the economic impact study itself, considering the direct, indirect and induced effects, based on its effect on GDP.

2nd. Phase. Make an initial descriptive analysis of the necessary variables.

3rd. Phase. Determination of the set of direct, indirect and induced effects

4th. Phase. Drafting and presentation of results.

The study analyzes both the impact associated with the construction investments / works to be carried out, as well as the analysis of the impact of the annual activity that will take place, once the planned activity is in operation.
