I graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Psychology from the University of Bucharest, followed by a Master\u2019s in Neurobiology and Health Psychology. Over the years, I have developed an interdisciplinary background that combines psychological and biological insights. Most recently, I completed a Master\u2019s in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University, driven by my desire to learn new techniques and collaborate closely with specialists in the field. During my internship, I looked into the emotional processing in relation to tactile fear conditioning paradigms within an fMRI framework.<\/p>\n
My thesis focused on investigating the neural correlates and functional dynamics of cued and context-driven fear of touch in a healthy sample. Currently, I am beginning my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Judith Dom\u00ednguez-Borr\u00e0s<\/strong>, where I will explore the processing of affective stimuli in greater depth, examining the neural pathways and correlates<\/strong> associated with auditory<\/strong> emotion processing. For this purpose, I will use<\/strong>\u00a0various techniques, including fMRI,\u00a0DWI<\/strong> and EEG.
