I studied Obstetrics and Childcare at the University of Santiago de Chile. I worked in primary and tertiary health care for thirteen years, mainly providing health monitoring and support for pregnant women, newborns, and their families.<\/p>\n
In addition to clinical practice, I have experience in health management, leading multidisciplinary teams in diverse contexts, including adolescent health programs focused on sexual, reproductive, and mental health, as well as community family health centers. To complement this work, I completed a Diploma in Quality Management at the University of Chile and a Master\u2019s in Management and Public Policies at the University of Santiago de Chile.<\/p>\n
I also taught in Midwifery programs at the University of the Development and Bernardo O\u2019Higgins University in Chile for two years.<\/p>\n
With the aim of orienting my career toward scientific research, I completed a Master\u2019s in Neurosciences at the University of Barcelona. My interest lies in studying the gestational period as a stage of brain plasticity, both in mothers and in fetuses. Within this program, I developed my Master\u2019s Thesis as part of the BeMother Project, under the supervision of Dr. Camila Servin and Dr. \u00d3scar Vilarroya. My study analyzed the correlation between maternal gray matter volume changes during the transition to motherhood and the mother\u2013infant bond.<\/p>\n
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Biomedicine at BrainLab, under the supervision of Dr. Carles Escera, investigating the impact of prenatal musical exposure on fetal brain plasticity related to language acquisition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3933,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-3929","researcher","type-researcher","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
