Afterwards, he continued his research career by pursuing a Master\u2019s degree in Research in Behavior and Cognition at the University of Barcelona. After winning the <em>Beca Pont M\u00e0ster-Doctorat<\/em> fellowship from the Institute of Neuroscience of the University of Barcelona (UB), he pursued his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Josep Marco-Pallar\u00e9s with an FPU fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>His thesis aimed to understand how predictability mechanisms, which are crucial for musical rhythm perception, affect its production and the motor control mechanisms that allow us to play music.<\/p>\n<p>The research questions required the use of brain-imaging techniques such as EEG and fMRI.
