The UB Business School will host the 5th Barcelona Marketing & Business Models International Summer School from 15th to 19th July, 2019. Participants will examine the latest topics and challenges in the discipline of marketing during one week of intensive course at the University of Barcelona, one of Europe’s leading universities.

The Barcelona Marketing & Business Models Summer School will explore new marketing approaches and strategies, rethink business models and address topics such as experiences and marketing strategies, innovation, marketing and digital economy, among others. The course is aimed at professionals, managers, lecturers, researchers and students.

The programme includes cultural activities, such as a guided tour around Barcelona, and a visit to the Chocolate Museum, the Roca Barcelona Gallery and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hospital de Sant Pau and the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona.

Master’s and PhD students seeking financial aid may apply for one of the two scholarships available, which cover the course tuition fees. The deadline for registration for those who want to apply for a scholarship is May 31st 2019. However, registration will be open until June 30th 2019 or until the course is full for those who do not intend to apply for a scholarship.

The UB Business School will organise a second edition of the Barcelona Marketing and Business Models Summer School from 2nd to 6th September 2019, which will focus on gastronomy and the food industry. The course will cover topics such as the traditional market, experiences and marketing strategies, menu typologies, as well as interdisciplinarities and other creative connections.
