The UB Business School has welcomed 22 new students on the Executive MBA programme. As many as 73% of all students are international students. Overall, 11 different nationalities are represented.

The Executive MBA at the UB Business School is a professional degree with students having 7 years of working experience on average. Members of the class of 2019 were employed in the following industry sectors prior to enrolment: Logistics (14%), Real State (14%), Consulting (14%), Banking (10%), Sales (10%), Consumer Goods (10%), Human Resources (10%), Engineering (9%) and Other (9%).

Students on the Executive MBA typically have an academic background in Business (55%), Social Sciences (18%), Engineering (14%), Architecture (9%) and Physics (4%) from universities such as University of Texas Austin, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad de Barcelona, Universidad de Belgrano and Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

Overall, the gender breakdown within the Executive MBA class of 2019 is 73% male students and 27% female students. On the other hand, the average age of the students is 30 years old.

The directors of the Executive MBA programme Santiago Forgas and Xavier Garcia welcomed the new students on September 28th, 2018, with an indoor training taking place the following day, on September 29th, 2018. Lectures started on Monday October 1st, 2018.

The Executive MBA provides entrepreneurs, businesspeople, general managers and middle-management staff with a comprehensive understanding of the management techniques and executive skills. The methodology is practical, active and highly participatory, using case studies, debates, tutorial sessions, expert lectures and simulations.

The teaching staff from the Executive MBA is formed mostly by professionals from successful companies and university lecturers with extensive experience in the academia.
