MSc in International Business students at the UB Business School will benefit from a new Erasmus+ exchange agreement with Kyoto University (Japan). From the academic year 2019/20, two students from the Faculty of Economics and Business will be able to study master’s degree courses at Kyoto University for one semester each academic year. Likewise, up to two students from Kyoto University will be able to apply for a temporary stay of one semester at our institution.

According to the Director of the Master, Merce Bernardo, “we are very happy to be able to offer this opportunity to our students that will contribute positively to their careers. This exchange agreement, achieved thanks to the efforts by the International Relationship Services, represents a step further in the internationalisation of the programme and the Faculty”.

Kyoto University is one of the leading research-oriented universities in Asia, usually coming in the top two for Japan in most major university rankings. Kyoto has been ranked #35 in the world in the QS Global World Ranking 2019 and 65th according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019. The university has also been ranked #45 for Social Sciences and Management (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018) and #71 for Business and Economics (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019 by subject).

In addition to the Kyoto University, the MSc International Business at the UB Business School offers Erasmus+ exchange opportunities with the Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Goethe Universität Frankfurt (Germany).
