A closer look at the MSc in International Business class of 2021

MSc in International Business - UB The Business School at the Universitat of Barcelona welcomed 18 new students that joined this year the MSc in International Business. Most of them come from Europe (61,1%), Asia (16,7%), Africa (11,1%), and America (11,1%). Altogether, there are 13 nationalities represented on this class where the average age is 24,5 years old. Carlos Politi, PhD student: “The need to learn and research never stops”

The Master in Business Research alumni and currently PhD student at the UB Business School, Carlos Politi, grew up in Argentina. There, he earned a law degree and worked for the Government and then in the private sector. Politi soon realized that his true passion was human resources, so he re-directed his career in that direction.  After several years of working in human resources, he quit his job and moved to the United States to undertake masters’ studies in Human Resources at Cornell University. Applications now open for MSc in Business Research and PhD in Business

The applications are now open for 2021/22 entry to the graduate programme in Business at the UB Business School. The graduate programme comprises a one-year MSc in Business Research and the PhD in Business. The two stages can be coursed independently of one another provided that the student meets the requirements. PhD graduate Alfonso Antonio Hernández Vivanco awarded extraordinary doctoral prize

Alfonso Antonio Hernández Vivanco, PhD graduate in Business at the UB Business School, has been awarded the extraordinary doctoral prize for the academic year 2018-2019. This year, coinciding with the inauguration of the academic year, the new edition of ‘The UB in figures' publishes the most outstanding data from last academic year. Take part in an experiment with a semi-humanoid robot!

Next week, the Faculty of Economics and Business will host a fascinating experiment with a semi-humanoid robot (TIAGo) who will engage with humans in playing a board game.
