ExpAliments
ExpAliments is the festival of the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus, organized in collaboration with Santa Coloma de Gramenet's City Council. It comprises multiple activities revolving around food, nutrition and health in a natural environement and with different physical activities. The main theme of this year's edition was food safety.
When and Where?
Saturday, november 17, 2012. From 10.30h to 14.30h, in the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus (UB) in Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
Everybody can find a suitable activity:
- For children: workshops, games, puppets, demonstrations, sport activities. New: a closed and supervised space intended for children will be made available for parents.
- For youngsters: indoor and outdoor activities, workshops and microtalks, debates, EduClics and sport activities.
- For the non-specialized public: microtalks, demonstrations, stands, expositions, debates, a food competition, the consultancy «Els miracles de les dietes miracle», etc.
- For an specialized audience: microtalks, posters, debates, etc.
- For people interested in local heritage: Guided tours to the recently restored pavilions.
- For Torribera's students: all the students are invited to take part in the organized activities, directly or as spectators.
- For secondary school's teachers: guided tours, demonstrations, microtalks, posters, workshops, debates, etc.
- For everybody: institutions and food companies' stands and the expositions «Nutrició sense fronteres» and «Gallina Blanca: 75 anys».
ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE.
THE EXPOSITION WON'T BE SUSPENDED IN CASE OF RAIN: Most activities are held in closed spaces.
