Chair formalized between the UB and the company Dentaid SL to carry out research activities in the field of Oral Surgery, Implantology, Oral Microbiology and Dentistry.

The UB-Dentaid Chair was founded to advance knowledge in Oral Microbiology, Oral Surgery and Implantology. Dentaid SL promotes research and training through the University of Barcelona with the following objectives:
- To undertake research activities in the UB Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in the fields of Oral Microbiology, Oral Surgery and Implantology.
- To develop new products and new tools applicable to dental care.
- To undertake clinical and preclinical studies to improve patient care.
- To create awards and grants to promote the undertaking of scientific activities.
- To provide advice for the R+D department and technical training for staff from Dentaid in the areas of Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Implantology.
