Our multidisciplinary research group currently focuses on two main research lines:
i) the use of experimental and computational approaches to design and synthetize new bioactive molecules as potential therapeutics for the treatment of neurodegenerative and diet-related diseases in collaboration with international and national neuroscience and biology groups;
ii) the integration of gastronomy and health sciences: we aim to investigate the impact of dietary patterns, functional foods and the use of food waste on health and sustainability in collaboration with the CETT and the Clinic Hospital of Barcelona.
