She holds a BA in English Literature (University of Barcelona) and a PhD in English Literature (University of Barcelona).<\/p>\n<p>She has spent periods as a Fellow of Exeter College, Oxford, a Fellow of Dartmouth College, Hanover NH and Visiting Scholar at\u00a0Sheffield University. She has published numerous articles and essays on English and Irish literature, and has specialized in Elizabethan, Restoration and contemporary drama. Her books include El sirviente ingl\u00e9s: auge y declive\u00a0(Barcelona: Ediciones Universidad de Barcelona, 1982) and Contemporary British Drama\u00a01980-1986 (Barcelona: PPU, 1989).
