Yasmine started her journey on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for environmental applications (catalysis, biomass) from her bachelor studies in chemistry from Universitas Indonesia. Later on, she pivoted to studying  MOFs for drug delivery during her master’s degree in bio-pharmaceutical materials science from BIOPHAM Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (University of Pisa, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and University of Lille). After both exposure to environmental and pharmaceutical applications of MOFs, she decided to pursue both.

Currently she is enjoying making greenly synthesized MOFs as robotic platforms for drug delivery as a PhD Candidate for  the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) – Doctoral Network GREENS in the ChemInFlow group at University of Barcelona.
