The Barcelona Deep Tech Node has awarded a Proof of Concept grant to a research project from the University of Barcelona that proposes a revolutionary solution for wastewater treatment, using a tubular electrochemical reactor that decontaminates and disinfects the water. The selected project is known as Hyperreactivity and the principal investigator is Ignacio Sirés Sadornil, a lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry of the UB.
The aim of the grant is to accelerate the maturity of the innovation and to facilitate its introduction to the market.
