It is crucial for investigators to know the procedure to follow in the event of an accident, bearing in mind that the nature and seriousness of each incident can significantly vary the action to be taken.
The diversity of possible scenarios during biological laboratory work requires a detailed and contextualized understanding of the actions to be taken, from immediate medical emergencies to those that allow a more planned response. Sensitivity and speed in the application of procedures can make the difference towards an agile and efficient management and the prevention of major complications, thus underlining the need for constant and adaptive preparation of personnel to act in case of accident in the face of all possible eventualities.
