Since last Monday, November 4, the University of Barcelona has opened the online course \u201cUse of Biosafety Cabinets<\/strong>\u201d, developed by the Office of Safety, Health and Environment (OSSMA) and the Biosafety Committee of the UB (CBSUB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this course, participants will learn how to use biological safety cabinets (BSC) safely and efficiently, as well as how to manage the associated risks. This equipment is present in many laboratories of the University, so it is essential to know how it works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this training initiative, the University of Barcelona reiterates its commitment to biosafety and occupational health, promoting a safer working environment and preparing professionals for the proper use of this equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the university community who work with CSB or who are interested in expanding their knowledge can register for the course through the OSSMA’s Training<\/a> area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
