Its objective is to promote the social inclusion of refugees in Barcelona through Socio-Sports Meetings<\/strong>: a socio-educational intervention that uses cooperative physical activity and service learning to help to form positive bonds, as equals, between people at risk of social exclusion and university students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n This is an international cooperation project developed in Tunisia. Its objective is to strengthen the role of Tunisian civil society (especially for women and youth) in defending civic space<\/strong> by protecting civil and political rights and promoting social cohesion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The University of Barcelona\u2019s Fundaci\u00f3 Solidaritat is one of the project\u2019s partner organisations, together with the University of Carthage (UCAR) and the Tunisian Human Rights League (LTDH). It is coordinated by NOVACT with the Tunisian association ADO+ and the Catalan associations Superacci\u00f3 and La Rotllana participating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n WAHDA holds socio-sports meetings to reinforce social cohesion and community resilience of people at risk of exclusion through Participatory Action Research, a research and social intervention methodology that allows participants to identify structural elements that affect social cohesion, equal opportunities and gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though it is no longer possible to register for this seminar, we do invite you to sign up for the Socio-Sports Meetings<\/a> that we hold every Wednesday from 4 pm to 6.30 pm in Barcelona.
