Its objective is to involve refugees and asylum seekers in physical activity for therapeutic and social purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is why the seminar involves organisations such as UNHCR, Fundaci\u00f3 Bar\u00e7a, the Observatory on Public Law (IDP) and the University of Barcelona. Coming from different areas of society, these organisations address social issues related to refugees and sport. The event encourages reflection on these issues and celebrates the International Day of Living Together in Peace, which promotes tolerance, solidarity, respect and peace worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organised by Refugees Welcome, the seminar aims to value sport as a means for coexistence and to build a more horizontal society, projecting it as an engine of development and social transformation. Through concrete proposals and experiences, the sport will be analysed as a right and as a means for refugees and migrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar will take place in the University of Barcelona\u2019s Faculty of Law on 16 May from 5.30 pm to 8 pm.
