From La Utópica, a collective network project for social emancipation in the Balearic Islands, was held on December 15, 2024, in Sineu (Mallorca), a space for collective reflection on care as an antidote to address the various crises (ecological, economic, political, social) that we face today.
Care, and especially its contemplation as something collective, is key, in the line of thought of La Utopica, to make possible the ecosocial transition; feminisms and ecologies go hand in hand in the search for fairer and regenerative life alternatives.
The idea for December 15 was to think together among the entities, initiatives and groups that make up the network of the Utopia in the organization and promotion of collective and group care and to put in common strategies of resistance against capital, patriarchy and the new colonialisms in the North and the global South.
The meeting will be repeated in 2025 on the islands of Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
