The school was held at the UFABC (Universidade Federal do ABC), at the Santo Andr\u00e9 campus. Santo Andr\u00e9 is a city of the big S\u00e3o Paulo area. A part from me, other scientists from Germany, Sweden or the U.S.A were giving courses on other topics. I think this is a good initiative, as the courses allow young Brazilian students in the area of molecular modelling to have insights on different research topics that are difficult to introduce in a short conference of 30 or 40 minutes. On my side, it was also a nice visit were I was able to meet many Brazilian scientists doing interesting research, which give me some new ideas on future research projects.
