En el seu discurs, el comissari europeu va fer \u00e8mfasi en la import\u00e0ncia de protegir la diversitat cultural i ling\u00fc\u00edstica de la Uni\u00f3 Europea i va destacar el paper integrador en l\u2019\u00e0mbit social i intercultural de les lleng\u00fces regionals i minorit\u00e0ries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">El projecte <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/cusc\/politling\/projects\/learnme\/\"><strong>LEARNMe<\/strong><\/a>, <em>Language and Education Addressed through Research and Networking by Mercator,<\/em> ha estat dut a terme per cinc centres de recerca europeus, tots ells membres de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mercator-network.eu\/mercator-network\/\"><strong>Xarxa Mercator<\/strong><\/a><strong><u>, <\/u><\/strong>entre els quals hi ha el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/cusc\"><strong>CUSC<\/strong><\/a> (UB). El projecte, dedicat a debatre i replantejar el paper de les lleng\u00fces minoritzades en l\u2019\u00e0mbit dels mitjans de comunicaci\u00f3, l\u2019ensenyament i el marc legal, ha organitzat una s\u00e8rie de jornades internacionals especialitzades des del 2013 a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mercator-research.eu\/events\/past-events-mercator\/2013-october-16-18-learnme-workshop-1-aberystwyth-university-wales\/\"><strong>Aberystwyth<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mercator-research.eu\/events\/past-events-mercator\/2014-may-8-9-second-learnme-workshop-stockholm-sweden\/\"><strong>Estocolm<\/strong><\/a> i <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/cusc\/politling\/projects\/learnme\/\"><strong>Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">El Simposi Internacional de Budapest va ser organitzat pel Centre de Recerca del Multiling\u00fcisme de Budapest de l\u2019Institut de Recerca en Multiling\u00fcisme de l\u2019Acad\u00e8mia Hongaresa de Ci\u00e8ncies. El <a href=\"http:\/\/learnme.mta-tkk.eu\/?q=en\/node\/8\"><strong>programa<\/strong><\/a> va comptar amb nombrosos experts en el camp del multiling\u00fcisme i la diversitat ling\u00fc\u00edstica en diversos \u00e0mbits, com ara la pol\u00edtica, el dret, la sociologia, la pedagogia i la ling\u00fc\u00edstica.
