Xavier Vila<\/a>, del CUSC-UB i de la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.iec.cat\/cruscat\/\">Xarxa CRUSCAT de l&#8217;IEC<\/a>, acaben de publicar un estudi sobre l&#8217;evoluci\u00f3 de les lleng\u00fces inicials a Catalunya (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jbe-platform.com\/content\/journals\/10.1075\/lplp.20028.flo\">The recent evolution of L1 in Catalonia: between minoritization and language maintenance<\/a>) a la revista <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jbe-platform.com\/content\/journals\/15699889\"><em>Language Problems and Language Planning<\/em><\/a>, de l&#8217;editorial neerlandesa John Benjamins.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;article, que s&#8217;adre\u00e7a principalment a lectors internacionals, parteix de la percepci\u00f3 del catal\u00e0 a Catalunya com un cas excepcional d&#8217;\u00e8xit entre les lleng\u00fces minoritzades. Per corroborar o matisar aquesta visi\u00f3, l&#8217;article empra dades de l&#8217;Enquesta d&#8217;Usos Ling\u00fc\u00edstics de la Poblaci\u00f3 (EULP) per analitzar l&#8217;evoluci\u00f3 els \u00faltims 15 anys de la variable llengua inicial com a indicador de la vitalitat de la llengua. Els resultats apunten a certa <strong>estabilitat del catal\u00e0 com a llengua inicial<\/strong>, gr\u00e0cies essencialment al manteniment de la transmissi\u00f3 de la llengua en parelles catalanoparlants i en l&#8217;atracci\u00f3 de les parelles ling\u00fc\u00edsticament mixtes cap a la transmissi\u00f3 del catal\u00e0. Tanmateix, l&#8217;arribada d\u2019immigraci\u00f3 en el mateix per\u00edode ha incrementat substancialment el pes de la resta de lleng\u00fces, i com a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, <strong>el catal\u00e0 perd pes percentual<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flors-Mas, Avel\u00b7l\u00ed; Sorolla, Natxo; Pradilla, Miquel \u00c0ngel; Vila, F.
