The Kathleen Firth Lecture

The Kathleen Firth lecture has been one of the plenaries of our annual congress since the Pacific Solutions Conference. Dr. Kathleen Firth took care of postcolonial studies in the Department of English Studies at the University of Barcelona after Prof. Doireann MacDermott retired. An internationally recognized academic and very widely read in the field, she taught postcolonialism with exceptional enthusiasm and dedication.
