COACHING IN NUTRITION AND HEALTH : NEW APPROACHES TO PATIENT CARE (2022-2023) |
Learning objectives:
To acquire training as a health and nutrition professional in the approach, skills and methodology of coaching, to gain the capacity to support people as they change their eating habits in a way that is effective and sustainable over time.
Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
Graduates or diploma holders in human nutrition and dietetics and health professionals who work in collaboration with dieticians and nutritionists, as well as graduates in dietetics and nutrition, pharmacy, medicine, nursing or Psychology (candidates CVs will be evaluated). Higher Technicians in Dietetics and Nutrition are also accepted.
Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
Students who are not university graduates may be admitted on these courses. These students will be eligible for a university extension course certificate.Information regarding the entry requirements in this case can be obtained from the course coordinators.
