We are proud to announce that the EDDU has been awarded the prestigious TECNIO seal by the Government of Catalonia, through ACCIÓ. This certification recognizes entities with proven capacity for developing and transferring technology to the productive sector.

The TECNIO accreditation places EDDU among a select group of research teams at the University of Barcelona, now expanded from 7 to 9, that stand out for their applied research and collaboration with industry.
Prior to obtaining the TECNIO accreditation, EDDU had been selected as a PRE-TECNIO group in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 calls for the intensification of transfer activities by the Vice-Rectorate for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Transfer at the University of Barcelona. These calls aimed to encourage the creation or consolidation of transfer groups and prepare them for obtaining the TECNIO seal within a four-year period, a goal that EDDU has successfully achieved.

Joining the TECNIO network represents a key milestone for EDDU’s mission: to advance early-stage drug discovery through academic excellence and strategic partnerships with public and private stakeholders. The TECNIO seal reinforces our commitment to scientific innovation with real-world impact, and opens up new opportunities for collaborative projects and technology valorization.
