Permite conservar alimentos y productos farmac\u00e9uticos, refrigerar centros de datos y bater\u00edas, y regular la temperatura en el transporte y los edificios. <\/p>\n<p class=\"fletxa_anterior\"> Sin embargo, nuestro planeta se est\u00e1 calentando a causa de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, y los refrigeradores actuales utilizan gases fluorados de compresi\u00f3n de vapor que contribuyen significativamente a este problema.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"fletxa_anterior\"> Por otro lado, los sistemas de calefacci\u00f3n dependen en gran medida de tecnolog\u00edas dominadas por los combustibles f\u00f3siles, que satisfacen m\u00e1s del 60% de la demanda energ\u00e9tica. <\/p>\n<p><strong>EEn este contexto, la calefacci\u00f3n y la refrigeraci\u00f3n en estado s\u00f3lido se perfilan como una alternativa disruptiva, eficiente desde el punto de vista energ\u00e9tico y respetuosa con el medio ambiente.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> Este enfoque innovador se basa en el efecto cal\u00f3rico, una respuesta t\u00e9rmica fundamental que muestran los materiales cuando se les aplica un est\u00edmulo externo. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=\u00bb1_3,1_3,1_3&#8243; Se orienta hacia la diversidad de materiales y tiene como objetivo descubrir materiales para la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de refrigeraci\u00f3n cal\u00f3rica de estado s\u00f3lido.<\/p>\n<p>En este proyecto, investigaremos materiales que act\u00faan como refrigerantes cuando se someten a est\u00edmulos externos, incluyendo en general campos mec\u00e1nicos, el\u00e9ctricos y magn\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio se llevar\u00e1 a cabo tanto desde un punto de vista experimental como te\u00f3rico, combinando medidas de laboratorio con modelos f\u00edsicos avanzados y c\u00e1lculos basados en principios fundamentales.
