The Commission on Cartographic Heritage into the Digital<\/a> of the International Cartographic Association (ICA) organizes, in collaboration with the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics, ELTE E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University<\/a> in Budapest, a conference to discuss the state of the art in automatic vectorization of old maps, with particular emphasis on the use of free and open source solutions.<\/p>\n

The Workshop Automatic vectorisation of historical maps<\/a> will take place in Budapest on March 13, 2020.<\/p>\n

All submitted works will be published online and a selection will be in a special issue of e-Perimetron<\/a>.<\/p>\n
