Interview with Doris Buu-Sao<\/h2>\n

The French magazine Mediapart<\/strong> conducted an interview with GER member researcher Doris Buu-Sao<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, professor at the University of Lille, about her most recent book.<\/p>\n

With Le capitalisme au village. P\u00e9trole, \u00c9tat et luttes environnementales en Amazonie<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/span> (“Capitalism in the village: oil, state and environmental struggles in the Amazon”), published by CNRS \u00c9ditions, researcher Doris Buu-Sao, professor in Lille, offers a detailed ethnography of the “extractivist meeting” in a remote region of Peru. She examines the various ways in which predatory and polluting industries can connect with the indigenous communities on whose lands they operate.<\/p>\n

Raquel Alqu\u00e9zar recibe II Premi ICA\r\n<\/pre>
Des del GER felicitamos a Raquel Alqu\u00e9zar, una de las miembros principales del Grup d'Estudis sobre Reciprocitat.<\/h2>
\u00a0<\/p>
El pasado diciembre de 2023 recibi\u00f3 el II Premio de investigaci\u00f3n ICA (Edici\u00f3n 2023) al trabajo \u201cL'economia Social i Solid\u00e0ria i les Finances \u00c8tiques: Entre el Valor Social i el Valor de Mercat\u201d<\/strong> de Raquel Alqu\u00e9zar Crusellas<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>
Est\u00e1 ahora en preparaci\u00f3n el proceso de edici\u00f3n del libro a ser publicado.<\/p>
El Jurado integrado por Josefina Roma Riu<\/strong>, Profesora em\u00e9rita del Departamento de Antropolog\u00eda de la Universidad de Barcelona, Josep M. Comelles<\/strong>, Catedr\u00e1tico em\u00e9rito de Antropolog\u00eda Social de la Universidad Rovira i Virgili y Joan Llu\u00eds Alegret<\/strong>, Profesor em\u00e9rito de la Universidad de Girona escribi\u00f3 unas pocas palabras que compartimos aqu\u00ed:<\/p>
\u201cLa problem\u00e1tica descrita desde una perspectiva etnogr\u00e1fica hace referencia a nuevas formas de actividad econ\u00f3mica que pueden considerarse alternativas a la econom\u00eda cl\u00e1sica basada en sociedades de capital. La evaluaci\u00f3n de estas experiencias a partir de la observaci\u00f3n participante no s\u00f3lo contribuye a su conocimiento, sino que abre las puertas a procedimientos de evaluaci\u00f3n poco representados en las empresas actuales. El trabajo demuestra un buen conocimiento te\u00f3rico con una destacada capacidad narrativa.\u201d<\/p>
