On this occasion, we will have the participation of Luc\u00eda Mu\u00f1oz Sueiro<\/strong>, who will begin the day at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong> with the presentation \u201cTejiendo temporalidades: La cultura del esparto y su potencial postfigurativo para el decrecimiento\u201d<\/em> (Weaving Temporalities: The Culture of Esparto Grass and its Postfigurative Potential for Degrowth); and Luc\u00eda D\u00edez Sanju\u00e1n<\/strong>, a member of the GER<\/strong>, who at 12:00 p.m.<\/strong> will present \u201cExplorando las interrelaciones entre dimensiones biof\u00edsicas y bioculturales en las transiciones agroecol\u00f3gicas\u201d<\/em> (Exploring the Interrelationships between Biophysical and Biocultural Dimensions in Agroecological Transitions).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Below, you will find a brief biography of each speaker:<\/p>\n Luc\u00eda Mu\u00f1oz Sueiro<\/strong> is a sociocultural anthropologist who works on topics related to rural life, popular culture, temporality, and degrowth, from a hybrid perspective combining anthropology, history, and political ecology. She has conducted research stays at Casa de las Am\u00e9ricas (Havana, Cuba) and at the Centre for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra (Portugal). She is currently a member of the research group “REAL: A Postgrowth Deal” (Synergy Grant). She has organized several political ecology routes, such as the R\u00edo Tinto Field School (Huelva, Spain) and the Degrowth Bike Caravan (Galicia, Spain), promoting collective exploration through participatory methodologies, traversing territories affected by extractivism on foot and by bicycle. She is a member of the organization Research & Degrowth (R&D) and has published in various media outlets, including CTXT, Revista Origens, and Revista Salvaje.<\/p>\n Luc\u00eda D\u00edez Sanju\u00e1n <\/strong>holds a PhD in Economic History from the University of Barcelona (UB). She previously earned a Master’s degree in International Economics and Development, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Between 2020 and 2025, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Organic Agriculture at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU).
