Diana González Mañas

Linked to the first person movement since 2017, Diana has a degree in Social Education from the University of Barcelona and a higher education degree in Social Integration. She worked at the Catalan Federation of First Person Mental Health Associations - VEUS, as a technician for the Human Rights in Mental Health Observatory, related to the field of discrimination and violations of human rights in mental health.
She currently works as a Research Assistant at the University of Barcelona, collaborating in the development of national and European projects that pursue the transformation of mental health care by human rights-based and citizenship-based frameworks.
The other half of the time she is dedicated to writing and poetry. She has participated in nacional festivals as a guest poet, has been part of group exhibitions and her poems have been published in national and international magazines, such as Zéjel or Casapaís.
