SUMMARY:Evidentialism’s Bias Problem
DESCRIPTION:Evidentialism is the thesis that what it&rsquo\;s rational for
 you to believe it determined by your evidence. Many epistemologists think
 this is so obviously true as to scarcely need defence. In this paper\, I w
 ill explain why I think that Evidentialism is false. In short\, the proble
 m is that Evidentialism cannot account for the fact that beliefs that are
 the product of unconscious biases are irrational. I&rsquo\;ll argue that e
 xplaining the irrationality of bias-infected beliefs requires rejecting Ev
 identialism and instead thinking about rationality in an entirely differen
 t way.&nbsp\;
