DESCRIPTION:In this paper\, I argue for the idea that objectivity is not ac
 hieved by detracting supposed subjective elements from our experience of o
 thers and the world\, but rather by adding more such elements to it. &nbsp
 \;We do this by means of taking other's perspectives. Instead of making us
  less objective and more partial\, as people like Jesse Prinz and Paul Blo
 om have argued\, empathy makes us more objective.
