DESCRIPTION:               Ontic structuralism is often expressed as the cl
 aim that structure is fundamental and that there are no objects.&nbsp\; In
  this talk I explain what this can mean and argue that correctly interpret
 ed this thesis is correct.&nbsp\; I will discuss the scientific realism de
 bate and what we can learn about our best current science from the history
  of science\, and also address the metaphysical implications of our best p
 hysics. Some light will be cast on structuralism in general.
