Summary

This project continues and deepens the research lines open in our previous project (BFF2002-02846) in which  we have made semantic proposals from the point of view of a conception of meaning that does not regard the notion of truth condition as basic. Our objective is to provide an alternative to the traditional standard conception of meaning that regards the declarative sentence as the basic target of theorizing whose function is to represent a fragment of the world and whose semantic value is entirely captured by appeal to its truth conditions.
