The initial hypothesis of the project is that a suffiently expressive model of the relation between mind(s) and world, so that representation can be explored therein, needs to augment game-theoretic sender-receiver models by embedding them in a formal model of the world as a probabilistic landscape. This will open the possibility of devising formal content-determining algorithms for the model.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation of this hypothesis is articulated around three general, interrelated objectives:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>O1<\/strong>. The specification of a model of the interaction of mind(s) and world, expressive enough to investigate the role of representations therein.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O2<\/strong>. The formulation of algorithmic recipes for crediting entities in the model with representational status, and for the identification of their content.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O3<\/strong>.
