Grup de Recerca en Toxicologia
Members of the Toxicology Unit of the Pharmacology, Toxicology and Therapeutical Chemistry Department form GRET: Research Group in Toxicology.
GRET is an AGAUR consolidated research group from 2005, renewed 2009 and 2014 (2014SGR566) and then renovated at every competitive call until today (2017SGR6).
As a research group, GRET is also appointed to the Nutrition and Food Safety Research Institute of the UB (INSA). Led by Dr. Jesús Gómez-Catalán, GRET develops several research projects with public and private funds, as well as contract-services for companies from different fields related with toxicity evaluation and risk assessment.
The GRET forms, together with the Experimental Toxicology and Ecotoxicology Unit (UTOX) of the Scientific Park of Barcelona (PCB), the Center for Research in Toxicology (CERETOX), integrated into the TECNIO network promoted by Generalitat of Catalunya.
