Dr. Àngels Viladomiu

Artist and PhD in Fine Arts. Associate Professor (SHP, Plan Serra Húnter) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. She has carried out research stays and guest professorships at the Fakultät Gestaltung, Bauhaus-Universität, Weimar and Weissensee Kunsthochschule, Berlin. Principal investigator of the competitive R+D Materia Impresa 2 project HAR2015-63952-C3-2-P (MINECO/FEDER). She is a member of the consolidated research group IMARTE, UB. Her research explores the connections between art, landscape, botany and dendrology through interdisciplinary projects. She has published several articles on art and climate change. With a long history of national and international exhibitions, her work is represented in several public collections such as that of the MNCARS, Madrid.
