Dr. Joaquim Cantalozella

Associate Professor of the Department of Visual Arts and Design, and Head of Studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts Barcelona. As an artist, he has held individual and group exhibitions in numerous national and international centers and galleries. His work has been recognized in different national and international awards such as the first prize in the XLV Banc de Sabadell Award and the first national prize UBS Art Award 2000, among others. His work is present in several public and private collections. He has been a research member of several R&D and SGR research groups dedicated to art, he is currently a member of the R&D Matèria impresa and Cuerpos Conectados. Nuevos roles de la imagen artística y política online, as well as the SGR IMARTE group. His theoretical research has been published in chapters of books and indexed scientific journals of a national and international nature. He is an active member of the recognized Teaching Innovation Group Art, Pro & Doc, where he has carried out different teaching innovation projects.
