Mònica Febrer Martín

Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona having completed the biennium doctoral “Arte en la Era Digital” 2006-2007. Currently working on her Phd. Her artistic work questions the use of artefacts, often appropriated to question the contemporary individual.
Some of her most recent works have been “El Globo”, “L’Abocador”, “Temptejos”, “L’Infant Golem”, “Desir” or “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon”, which have been exhibited in different art institutions such as The festival LOOP (2007), France, Lithuania, Austria, Italy, and Portugal, within the project targeted young Europeans from the Centre de Cultura Metropolità Tecla Sala de l’Hospitalet (2007), as in various galleries and exhibition areas including the Gallery Senda, Fundación Privada para el Desarrollo del Arte Contemporáneo (2007), the Space of Creation OFF* AMPLE (2008) or the exhibition space Movistar (2008).
