During December 2025, Dr. Jordi Díaz Marcos (IN²UB Outreach Coordinator) participated as a trainer and scientific communicator in the NanoMentes – Explorers of the Invisible to Change the World program, developed in Costa Rica in collaboration with LANOTEC / CENAT and with the support of the Embassy of Spain.
The activity consisted of an intensive workshop aimed at highly capable students (12–13 years old), with a total of 16 hours, focused on the introduction to nanotechnology, its applications and its relationship with sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The program, based on the NanoInventum educational model, integrated creative, gamified and experimental methodologies, culminating in the design and construction of nanorobot models as applied projects. This participation is part of the actions of projection and international collaboration in education and scientific dissemination.
