{"id":51848,"date":"2026-01-19T13:11:42","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T12:11:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/in2ub\/?p=51848"},"modified":"2026-01-21T13:02:50","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T12:02:50","slug":"in%c2%b2ub-outreach-coordination-at-nanomentes-costa-rica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/in2ub\/in%c2%b2ub-outreach-coordination-at-nanomentes-costa-rica\/","title":{"rendered":"IN\u00b2UB Outreach Coordination at \u201cNanoMentes\u201d (Costa Rica)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During\u00a0 December 2025, Dr. Jordi D\u00edaz Marcos (IN\u00b2UB Outreach Coordinator)\u00a0 participated as a trainer and scientific communicator in the <strong>NanoMentes \u2013 Explorers of the Invisible to Change the World<\/strong> program, developed in Costa Rica in collaboration with LANOTEC \/ CENAT and with the support of the Embassy of Spain.<br \/>\nThe activity consisted of an intensive workshop aimed at highly capable students (12\u201313 years old), with a total of 16 hours, focused on the introduction to nanotechnology, its applications and its relationship with sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<br \/>\nThe program, based on the NanoInventum educational model, integrated creative, gamified and experimental methodologies, culminating in the design and construction of nanorobot models as applied projects.
