DENDRIMERS AND MOLECULAR POLYGONS

• This research is conducted in two basic areas: the synthesis of organometallic dendrimers and the formation of supramolecules by self-assembly. The potential use of metallodendrimers for homogeneous catalysis wil be investigated as well as the ability of supramolecules in molecular recognition processes. The students will use X-ray diffraction, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, including NMR experiments, mass spectrometry and electrochemical and photochemical techniques.
