Short bio

I am currently working as Lecturer and researcher at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). I began my research training just after completing the Bachelor's in Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2012, when I moved to the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) to study the Master's in Health Psychology until 2014, as well as the Master's in Cognitive Social Therapy and the Ph.D. in Clinical and Health Psychology, both completed in 2018. In 2019 I enjoyed two stages of intensive postdoctoral research at UB and the Institut d'Investigació Biomèdica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL). The latter was conducted in coordination with the Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO), a network of oncological hospitals where I currently conduct most of my research.

My projects focus on psychotherapy processes and outcomes, with a specific interest in depressive disorders and cancer, exploring how psychological interventions can improve these clinical conditions. In the last years, I have developed a strong interest in eHealth, and I have participated in several European and national projects in digital psychosocial care.
