Ten IRBio-UB projects funded by the 2025 Knowledge Generation Projects call

A total of ten (10) projects led by eleven members of the Biodiversity Research Institute (IRBio) have been selected to receive funding in the national call for Knowledge Generation Projects 2025.

This call aims to fund research projects to significantly advance scientific knowledge, promote the quality of research and seek solutions to social challenges. In addition, it promotes the training of predoctoral researchers through the completion of doctoral theses associated with the funded projects. This year we have six (6) FPI contracts associated with the projects awarded

This call seeks to strengthen the national and international leadership of research teams, promote mobility and participation in European and international projects, and incorporate inter- and multidisciplinary approaches to generate synergies and significant advances in science.
