A partir d’una notícia sobre la troballa real d’una dent de Megalodont a 3.000 metres de profunditat, l’alumnat és convidat a investigar si aquesta espècie prehistòrica podria continuar viva amagada al fons oceànic. Aquesta pregunta desperta l’interès inicial i obre un procés d’indagació sobre la formació i evolució del fons marí, la datació de les roques i l’impacte humà sobre els recursos geològics.
