El jaciment va ser descobert a finals dels anys 1970 per Vicent Meseguer, qui en 1981 va realitzar un sondeig de 20 cm de profunditat en el qual va recuperar un xicotet lot de materials que va vincular al Mesol\u00edtic.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

La revisi\u00f3 dels materials ens va portar a pensar que el jaciment podria ser una mica anterior a les dates proposades, per la qual cosa vam realitzar una excavaci\u00f3 en 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Els materials recuperats s\u00f3n abundants, amb una ind\u00fastria l\u00edtica en la qual dominen els elements de dors, els gratadors i les peces amb osques o denticulades. A m\u00e9s, cal destriar la recuperaci\u00f3 d’un xicotet lot d’elements geom\u00e8trics que permeten adscriure el jaciment a l\u2019Epimagdaleniense recent\/Sauveterri\u00e0, fa uns 12500 anys.<\/span><\/p>\n
