El jaciment va ser descobert al novembre de 2013 pel nostre equip d’investigaci\u00f3, dirigit per In\u00e9s Domingo (ICREA-UB) i D\u00eddac Roman (UJI\/Pre-EINA). La seua ubicaci\u00f3 es va mantindre en secret fins que en 2017 es va poder realitzar un tancament preventiu que garanteix la seua protecci\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La balma es troba en una cinglera d’uns 200 m de longitud en el meandre que d\u00f3na nom al jaciment. Les pintures es troben en una zona d’uns 20 m de llarg, i presenten diversos estats de conservaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Entre la vintena de figures conservades destaca la pres\u00e8ncia de b\u00f2vids de gran grand\u00e0ria (uns 40 cm de longitud), arquers, cabres i c\u00e9rvols.<\/p>\n

La troballa est\u00e0 en proc\u00e9s de publicaci\u00f3.
