FOLLOW-UP

Every student has assigned a Follow-up Commission chosen by the PhD Studies Commission, in accordance with the PhD normative of the University of Barcelona. The follow-up commissions monitors the development of the doctoral thesis by the corresponding students, as established by the mentioned normative. Once a year, a report on the progress of the students is written for the Studies Commission of the program. In order to write this report, the follow-up commissions will request in September to the PhD students a description of their progress, and a report on this to their PhD supervisors. If convenient, the report by the student can be substituted by an oral exposition of the word done.
