He is a member of consolidated research groups such as BRAC and CRECS, highlighting his commitment to interdisciplinary research. He has supervised 24 doctoral theses and is currently directing five more, and has been awarded five research assessment periods and six teaching assessment periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His research focuses on public sculpture, sculptural processes, and the relationship between art and urban space, contributing to both theoretical and applied perspectives. He collaborates with numerous national and international academic institutions, participating in master\u2019s programs in art, design, architecture, landscape, and ceramics. He also serves as editor of the scientific journal BRAC and as an advisor in communication design initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planas has completed research residencies in international centers in the Netherlands, France, Morocco, and China, reinforcing his global outlook.
