From the 12th to the 16th of September 2022 our PhD students Anna Sampietro, Aldrick Verano and Noemí Martínez from Diego Muñoz-Torrero’s group have participated in the Barcelona Protein Aggregation Training School that took place in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
It is an international event organised by the PhaseAge group from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Institut de Biotecnologia i Biomedicina (ibb), where the participants were provided with expertise on fundamental aspects of protein aggregation.
Trainees have attended lectures and have also been able to explore experimental methods to study these processes computationally and in vitro. Furthermore, they have been able to visit the Synchroton Alba facility and be in contact with the newest technologies in the field of protein aggregation.
It was an excellent opportunity and an enriching experience for our participants.
